Alice Springs RSL Club

The Club is a strong supporter of local sport and community groups and willingly provides assistance where it can to these groups. Within the RSL Club itself there are the following groups:
RSL-Works Cricket Club
Soccer
Stirrers
Ladies Auxiliary

Each of these groups receive indirect financial support through the running of raffles including the ever-popular meat-tray raffles. With our support these groups are assured of continued financial income which in turn assists them to develop their organisations and contribution to the Central Australian community.

RSL Soccer Club
The RSL Club has supported soccer, and in particular, Women's Soccer in Alice Springs since 1997. Soccer is a popular year round sport in Central Australia with an 11-a-side competition during winter and a 7-a-side during summer. The RSL Soccer Club has as many as three teams competing in the different grades at any one time with players of all ages and fitness levels, and all walks of life. The RSL Club is proud to support the RSL Soccer Club and particularly their efforts in achieving Silver Medals at the past two Arafura Games.

There are numerous other groups that have received support from the Club and we are very keen to offer the use of our facilities, particularly the open-air Lang Tan Bar, whenever we are able. This area has been used by:

Numerous Veterans Reunions and School Groups
